Cardio Is A Good Activity That Can Improve Your Heart Rate
If you want to stay fit then cardio is the answer but the problem is it is excruciating for most people. Many of us have a treadmill at home but not all us are fond of using it. If you are one of those people who treat your treadmill or any exercise machines at home as an ornament, then better find a way on how you can make cardio enjoyable for you.
Read the following pointers to help you turn your dreadful workout routine into a pleasant experience. Remember, any exercise that can escalate your heart rate is a good cardio.
Walking - Come to think of it, many don't realize the importance of walking because it has become a regular thing for us every day. Well if that's so, then try to walk a little bit longer to keep yourself in shape. A good 45 minute walk everyday will do.
We are all aware that we shouldn't be physically inactive for a long period of time. That is why studies have been made to prove that those people who walk everyday can enjoy more additional years in their lives compared to those who chose to be sluggish and dormant.
In walking, your rate of movement is not much of an importance. What is important is that you keep your body in action. Brisk walking will give you higher heart rate which can burn fat. On the other hand, walking at a regular pace isn't so bad at all. You can still get plenty of benefits as it maintains your body from producing motion.
HIIT - Spending hours doing some boring and ordinary exercise routine could deter you from having a healthy lifestyle. That is why someone created the High Intensity Interval Training or HIIT. What it does is that it gives you that healthy physique in a short period of time. How short? Well let's say, 20 minutes or less in a day. Sounds great isn't it?
Another bonus you can get from HIIT is that you don't need to give in all of your energy and effort in the 20 minute cardio. The level of your effort changes from extreme to moderate from time to time.
If you're burned out or drained with long hours of cardio training, then you can get the same effect of working out for hours in just half. And there are studies conducted too to support this. So better choose the one that will give you both result and comfort in less time.
